OCN: The Ontario Corporation Number (OCN) is assigned by the Ontario government when you incorporate your business. A business will only have an OCN if it is registered as a corporation.
BIN: The Business Identification Number (BIN) is a 9-digit number assigned by the Ontario government. A business will have a BIN if it is registered as a partnership or sole proprietorship.
NOTE: A BIN is different from your Business Number (BN9). Your BN9 is assigned by the Canada Revenue Agency.
